How far is the villa from the airport?The villa is approximately 30 kl from the airport, the journey will take around 30 minutes and the cost of a taxi will be around 45 euros.

How far ito the nearest beachThe nearest beach, Papagayo, is approximately 10 minutes from the villa on foot, once you reach the first beach there are a further six beaches spread out along the costline.Dorada beach, a very safe beach for children, is a 5 minute drive from the villa, here you can hire sunbeds and participate in several water sports or   enjoy a drink at the cafe bar.There is also a beach in town and a few others in Playa Blanca, some of which you really need transport to get to.

How far ito the nearest supermarket?The villa is within 5 minutes walk to our local supermarket, there is also a Hiperdino supermarket within a 10-15 minute walk where you will get your morning paper. .We have a larger supermarket in the centre of town which is ideal for doing a “big shop” this would perhaps involve a ride in one of our local taxis. The approximate cost back to the villa with your shopping would be around four euros.

Are there restaurants within walking distance?There are a couple of restaurants within a five minute walk from the villa.  The marina, where you will find many shops and restaurants, is about a 20 minute walk from the villa., if you continue for another 10 minutes along the promenade you will reach the town of Playa Blanca where you will find the promenade lined with good restaurants.

Is it advisable to hire a car?Car hire is probably the best way to get around the Island but many visitors just refuse to drive whilst on holiday and prefer to use taxis, our local bus service or take the organised bus tours, there are many tours available that take you to the main tourist attractions on the Island.

Is the swimming pool heated?During the summer months the pool is heated by solar heating and is totally dependant on the heat from the sun, most of the year the water temperature is comfortable, however between around late September to mid April we would suggest that you have the electric pool heating which maintains the pool at a comfortable temperature.

How do we find the villa?The directions to the villa will be forwarded to you with your final invoice, Google co-ordinates can also be supplied if you run “Google Earth “on your computer.

Are children welcome in the restaurants?You will find that Spanish love kids and yes they are made very welcome in all the local restaurants and also the local hotels should you wish to dine in their restaurant in the evening.

What if we require assistance whilst on holiday?We will not be 2000 miles away in the UK,we live in Las Coloradas and are contactable 24 hours a day should you require assistance with anything.

What about Taxis?Taxis are plentiful on the island and also very reasonable, they can be flagged down in the street if they are displaying a green light on the roof. You can also phone for a taxi to pick you up from the villa. There is also a taxi rank in the centre of town.

Is there a local market?There are markets held twice weekly in Playa Blanca on a Wednesday and a Saturday, opening hours are from around 9am to around 2pm, although most stalls begin to pack their wares around 1.00pm.We also have the big Sunday market in Teguise, this is well worth a visit if you have not been before.

Are cigarettes and spirits cheaper on the plane?No……….you will find that the prices in the local shops are favourable to the prices on the plane.

What time must we vacate the villa at the end of our holiday?Departure time at the end of your holiday is 10am, this is to allow us to prepare the villa for our incoming guests, it may be possible for you to depart later if there are no guests due to arrive on the day you depart.

How do we pay the deposit?The depoit would be paid by bank transfer into our account

How do we book the villa?Firstly you have to check that your required dates are available.You can submit an enquiry via the "Booking Enquiry" formwhich you will find to the left of this page.We would then forward the booking form for you to completeand email back to us.Once we receive the booking form we would then confirm your booking and forward your invoice.

When do we pay the balance?The balance would be payable via bank transfer, 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday.

Can you arrange to meet us at the airport?Yes we can arrange to meet you at the airport and transfer you directly to the villa.We can also return you to the airport at the end of your holiday. ( Max 4 persons )

How much is the deposit?The deposit is £100 per week booked.

Do you have English television?Yes we have sky television with a good choice of English channels.

Is there a local bus service?Yes we have a local bus which runs every 30mins from Las Coloradas into town and beyond, the fare is €1,15
