An old fishing village, Playa Blanca is nowadays one of the most important tourist centres on the island. Various very attractive beaches make up this part of the coast. Playa Blanca is a beach of golden sand.
Definitly some of the most beautiful beaches of the island can be found within a 10 minute walk of Villa Los Arcos.
The 7 Papagayo beaches lie in a nature reserve and some of them are situated in a beautiful bay.
Flamingo Beach
This is an ideal beach if you have children! it's very safe as there is a breaker from the sea around the bay

Dorada Beach
Playa Dorada is literally translated as The Golden Beach and this is certainly an accurate description with its warm honey coloured sand.
The sea around Playa Dorada is generally very calm and it is a popular spot with residents who take a morning swim here.
